Hello All

decided it may be time to bring back the xanga postings, while at times seem tedious, always fun and informative.  Having had the last two days off from work I decided today to work in the yard.  I proceeded to weed the parking spot.  While it was great to be outside enjoying the weather, since I was cooped up in the mall all last weekend while you were all out in the sun, I managed to give myself a couple of blisters.  Thus came the battle of to pop or not to pop.  There are differing opinions on the subject of blisters.  For now I have decided to let it be, hopefully it will sort itself out.

I also discovered a new love for the show planet earth.  My sister bought the dvd set yesterday and I have already watched 4 episodes.  Stayed up late yesterday watching 3.  It is so crazy addictive.  The stuff in the show is so interesting to watch and for added bonus, not all of you will appreciate this, but the narrator has a great accent.  i know, i am a loser.

i know not the most interesting person on the block, but with more posting this may improve.

Thanks to all those who have shown support these last few days, unfortunately my Oma has passed away today. She went peacefully in her sleep. My mom and I are flying to holland on wednesday to attend the funeral. We appreciate your continued prayer.

Hello

For those of you who have not heard it throught the grape vine, my oma is dying. She has an agressive form of stomach cancer and does not have very long to live. The doctors have said that they will not treat the cancer, because it will be too hrad on her body, but will do all they can to make these last days as comfortable as possible. My Dad has flown to holland already, he was there last week saturday. He has been able to visit with his mom and make peace with her. For him it has been a good thing and a bad thing. He writes emails everyday but I can tell from them that he is really having a hard time with this all. So, in the days or weeks to come I will be flying out to Holland to attend the funeral, when it happens. My Oma's death is imminent, so steps have been started to make sure that all is taken care of. Taking with friends yesterday really opened my eyes to how much I value my family, and how hard it is when they live so far away.

I now ask for your prayer that these last days will be peacefull for my Oma, and for strength in this trying time.

--On behalf of my family I thank you all

Came home to a suprise today. My computer that I had ordered and have been waiting for has finally arrived. My macbook is here and my ipod is on the way. WOOOOOHOOOOOOOO.. I am pretty excited about this whole lot, except for the repaying my parents part, but hey,, maybe, just maybe they will forget this debt.... who am i kidding, PIM, i doubt it. No worries. Just wanted to share the love. Have a great day all.

walked around crescent beach today with ismay and the moes girls. had a blast chatting it up.. it is so nice to just get outside and walk around with good friends. had some great laughs. I have some of the most random friends. but hey, that is the spice of life. Bring on the summer. More laughs and walks. Also had back to back weddings this weekend. Alicia and Harold and my good friends steve bosma and cianna barnes. Both amazing weddings. i love weddings because you can get together with so many good friends and chat it up, plus, the wine is free. weird to think about because these couples are very close in age to me. I cant even imagine getting married now, but hey to be able to make that kind of commitment to someone is a beautiful thing.
